Dreama Walker as Abigail Marshall
As an emerging young talent quickly on the rise, Dreama Walker challenges herself with each new role and continues to evolve with each project she takes on.
This April, Walker took on her first major starring role on the ABC primetime network television series, Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23. In the series, Walker stars as June,’ a naïve Midwesterner who moves in with a New York party girl, Chloe’ (Krysten Ritter). Her big city dreams are dashed her first week in New York, when she finds herself living with her worst nightmare in this hilarious, contemporary comedy about a female odd couple who are surrounded by an outrageous cast of characters.
Walker is most known for her recurring role on the CBS Emmy-nominated drama, The Good Wife, where she plays, Becca,’ a mischievous high school temptress who finds joy in disrupting the lives of other characters. In the series, the actress plays opposite Zach Florrick (Graham Phillips) as the conniving ex-girlfriend who manipulates her way around delicate situations. The award-winning television series premiered in September of 2009 and is currently in its third season.
Walker can currently be seen in director/writer Craig Zobel’s drama-thriller film, Compliance, opposite Ann Dowd and Pat Healy, and is based on a true story about a 19 year old (Walker) who is tormented by a man claiming to be a cop. The film premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and is set for release by Magnolia Films later this year. For her role, she was awarded an “Honorable Mention” in the “Best Actress” category for the 2012 Paste SXSW Film Awards. Walker will also be seen in Lionsgate’s, Gay Dude, directed by Chris Nelson. The coming of age comedy is about two guys who make a pact to lose their virginity before prom and find their friendship tested when one of them comes out of the closet. In the film, Walker stars alongside Nicholas Braun, Hunter Cope, and Dakota Johnson. Additionally, Walker has Ishai Setton’s, The Kitchen, opposite Laura Prepon and Bryan Greenberg. In the independent ensemble comedy, centers on a birthday celebration, and is set entirely in a kitchen.
Her film credits include, Jay Alaimo’s Chlorine (2011), starring Kyra Sedgwick and Tom Sizemore; Ricky Gervais’ and Matthew Robinson’s The Invention of Lying (2009), starring Ricky Gervais and Jennifer Garner; Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino (2008) where she played Ashley Kowalski,’ the granddaughter of Eastwood’s character. Additional television credits include a number of appearances and roles in notable television shows such as Gossip Girl, Mercy, Ugly Betty, Royal Pains, and Law and Order.
